Predict FAQs
- Can I find quick functional annotation about predicted genes?
- Click on any locus hyperlink and you will be directed to the corresponding page
in SGD. If you simply hover the mouse over the link, a tooltip will pop up
with a basic description (from SGD). Internet Explorer will allow you to see
the full description. Firefox will truncate the description.
- How can I tell if my gene name references the correct locus?
- After submitting your gene list, you will be notified if you have entered any
gene names with ambigous or multile loci. NOTE: if you enter a standard name
(according to SGD) that has also been used as an alias for another locus, the
locus will be included, but alternative loci will be displayed to the right
of the entry.
- Why does the cytoscape file link display gibberish?
- Your browser is probably treating the file as text. Try right clicking on the
link and choosing "Save as...".
- Does this tool work with other yeast networks?
- Please contact us at the email address below if you would like to discuss the
addition of a network.
- What should I do when labels in the network are too small to read?
- Try exporting the network to PDF using the "Export vector graphic" pull down menu. In the PDF, you
will be able to zoom in easily.
